Dr Abiodun Akanbi

Dr Abiodun Akanbi is an economist and a multi-disciplinary professional with strong academic qualifications and over 25 years of unique experience in finance (money, capital markets, and public Finance). His expertise spans banking operations, mortgage banking, real estate financing, credit, asset management, public debt management, securities trading, macroeconomic analysis, equity and fixed income valuation, treasury management, risk management, and financial advisory. He has undertaken and executed many landmark financial market and financial advisory transactions.

He holds a B.Sc. in Economics, a Master’s in Banking and Finance, an MBA and an MPhil in Management. He has a PhD in Finance from the prestigious Nile University of Nigeria. Dr Abiodun Akanbi is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS Nigeria), Associate of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA UK), Associate of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI UK), Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) and an Authorised Dealing Clerk of the Nigerian Exchange Group NGX.
