Mal. Husseyn H. Ahmed II,, a business management strategist was until July 2009, the retail branch manager of Oando Marketing Plc. covering Borno and Yobe states of Nigeria. In that capacity he ensured the sustained supply of petroleum products to the region including LPG and Lubricants .He had earlier worked as a Senior Sales Executive Kano division covering Kano, Katsina and Jigawa States. From April 2002 to June 2005, he joined the Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa as a Lecturer in the school of basic and remedial studies SBRS, where he taught IJMB students Macro and Microeconomics, Business Mathematics, Principles of Economics and Introduction to Economics for National Diploma Students.
Husseyn was also with the National fertilizer company of Nigeria (NAFCON) between July 1992 and May 2002 as a senior sales promotion supervisor covering the entire eastern region (Abia, Anambra, Edo, Enugu, Delta, Imo, Rivers and Ebonyi) states. He audited and provided extension services for all the shipments of fertilizers shipped to the eastern region from NAFCON, Onne Plants. Within the same period he was moved to Kaduna division to coordinate and audit all production of the bulk blenders of Fertilizers in the North, namely, Federal Supersulphate Company FSP, Kaduna, and Fertilizer & Chemicals (F & C Ltd) Kaduna. Morris of Minna, Niger State. In 2000, he again moved to Kano as a Distribution Manager attached to Agro-Nutrients Fertilizers and Chemicals, (ANCC, Kano Limited) and Kano State Fertilizer Company KASCO. Here, he ensured Fertilizers allocated to the entire Northern and Middle belt states of Nigeria were dispatched and delivered. Husseyn was appointed as a member representing Nafcon Ltd, on the Presidential Committee on fertilizer distribution and diversion in September, 1995.
Malam Husseyn, has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics (BSc Economics) from the University of Jos, Nigeria, a postgraduate diploma in management (PGDM) from Bayero University Kano, a master of business administration (MBA) from Bayero University Kano, Kano. He is also a recipient of the prestigious certificate of achievement of Steven Covey’s 7 Habits of highly effective people, certificate in Common Business Oriented Language Programming (COBOL) from Abu-Bakr Tafawa Balewa University of Technology, (ATBU) Bauchi, Certificate in Basic Management Development by Philip Consulting Group, Certificate in Effective Supervision by Human Capacity Development Consultants, Certificate in Executive Management Development, by Lagos Business school (LBS), Lagos, and ACCA certificate in International Auditing.
